Creationism Well er... God created everything and anyone who refuses to admit that is foolish or evil or both.
Creationism is the belief that the universe and the Earth were created as described in Genesis Chapters 1 and 2. There are several flavors of creationism. Young Earth Creationism (YEC) has Yahweh poofing everything into existence in six days some 6000 years ago. Old Earth Creationism (OEC) has Yahweh doing the creation at a more leisurely pace several billion years ago. Many Orthodox Jews follow YEC. Various Hindu and Muslim fundamentalists have their own creation myths.
Intelligent design[]
Intelligent Design (ID) is a form of creationism with all mention of God removed and replaced by an "Intelligent Designer" whose attributes are indistinguishable from God. ID was invented to circumvent the US Constitution's prohibition on government promotion of religion. The legal decision in Kitzmiller v. Dover was that ID was creationism and therefore religious, not scientific.
Pathogens spread[]
The United States of America is suffering a severe epidemic of creationism and Europe risks infection too. Creationists got rubbish put into material visitors read at the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland. PZ wrote about it [1] and there's now an on-line protest petition. [2]
