My grandmother was a fabulous cook, and this recipe is taken from her handwritten recipe book. As far as I can tell, a "teacup" is a regular cup, and a "breakfast cup" is a larger example of that (i.e. use a heaped cup).
Very easy to cook, and totally delicious.
Coconut Bread
1 teacup granulated dried coconut
1 teacup sugar
1 breakfast cup flour
3/4 cups of milk
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Put into a well greased loaf tin. Cook 1/2 to 3/4 hour in moderate oven (150C, 300F).
When cool, cut into slices, optionally spread with butter.
