Atheism Wiki

You're welcome to edit Atheism Wiki. Proxima Centauri 09:27, July 3, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks, Proxima. I do have one mainspace edit! :-) Usually I don't even have enough time for all that I want to do here, but there's a few things on Atheism Wiki that I "plan" to do. Whether I'll ever get around to it, I don't know. :-\ Blame MarkovBaines 03:21, July 5, 2012 (UTC)

I've started an article about Pharyngula Wiki and I'm sure you can add to it. Proxima Centauri (talk) 18:35, October 12, 2012 (UTC)

What's wrong?

I like this website and I like to contribute. Whenever I make any number of edits other editors stop contributing, then I feel I have to keep away so I don't monopolize the site. Why does this happen? Can anything be done to stop this? Proxima Centauri (talk) 10:59, October 26, 2012 (UTC)

Hmm. I haven't noticed that. It might just be your perception and/or coincidental timing. This is a pretty slow wiki, most Pharyngula commenters don't actively edit it, and those who do use it nevertheless hang out more on the blog itself rather than this wiki. But if you're worried about it, it couldn't hurt to add "inviting" edit summaries like please make any changes you can think of to improve this article! :) and so on, at least for your last edit to a page, so that shows up in Recent Changes and Watchlists. Thanks for asking, though, that's thoughtful of you. Blame MarkovBaines 10:37, October 27, 2012 (UTC)

Question on newly added article

Could you check out the Phil "Thunderf00t" Mason article and the article history at some point when you have time? Wasn't sure of the correct action to take there; what I settled on may have been too extreme/cautious or may have been insufficiently so. To be honest my instinct was full deletion. CCipher (talk) 04:05, January 2, 2013 (UTC)

You did fine. IMHO, if you still want to speedy-delete it, go ahead. I'd like non-trolling contributions to go through Template:Prod and/or Pharyngula Wiki:Admin work#Deletion requests, but there is no good reason to tolerate blatant crap. Blame MarkovBaines 07:43, January 2, 2013 (UTC)
I've given a final warning. If that user does another blatant violation of our Biographies of Living Persons policy, or vandalism/destruction to the wiki, feel free to enforce a block if I am slow to react. Length is your prerogative; I'd recommend anything from a week to indef, depending. Blame MarkovBaines 07:55, January 2, 2013 (UTC)
